In case you missed it on our Instagram story yesterday, we gave you guys the chance to ask us any questions you may have about our space! We get calls and emails every day from people who have questions about Haus 820, so we wanted to share those with you all so you know more about what you get when you host your event here with us! Here’s a list of our most frequently asked questions:
Can I take pictures at Haus 820 if I’m not hosting an event there?
Our Color Wall and the outside of our building is always available for anyone to come take photos at! We love seeing people using our Color Wall for fun pictures with their friends, engagement sessions, or fun wedding portraits. In order to take photos inside the building, you’ll have to call and set up an appointment with our Haus staff so that we can make sure there’s no events taking place inside.
How much do you charge for photo shoots?
We charge $175/hour for photo shoots. If you’re a vendor, contact us about our special rate for styled shoots!
What types of events do you host? And how frequently do you have events?
We host all sorts of events here at Haus! We have tons of weddings/receptions, corporate events, styled shoots, galas, markets, community events, birthday parties, charity events, holiday parties and more. Make sure you’re watching our Instagram stories to see live updates of events as they’re being set up and happening! On average we have about 3-4 events per week, it just depends on the time of year, but Saturday is always our busiest day of the week.
Do you double book smaller events in your space?
We prefer not to double book in our space to make sure our clients have the best experience possible on the day of their event!
What is the pricing for a wedding and/or reception?
Event pricing is based off of day of the week and year. Contact our team so you can get specific pricing for your preferred date!
How many people fit in Haus?
Haus fits 500 people seated and 1,000 standing.
When can we come tour Haus 820?
By appointment only – please email us at INQUIRY@HAUS820.COM to schedule a private tour!
Does Haus 820 allow us to bring in our own vendors?
Haus 820 is a non-exclusive venue which allows our clients to bring any licensed and insured vendor. We have a full finishing kitchen that is available for your caterer’s use during your rental (see OUR SPACE page).
Does Haus 820 have its own furniture and rentals?
We work with a variety of incredible rental companies located in the Greater Lakeland area. These contracts are separate to the venue rental agreements, but we can include furniture packages as an option to help simplify the rental services. The venue was designed to truly be a blank space and allow you full control over the design and atmosphere.
How do we reserve Haus 820 for our event?
In order to reserve a date, a reservation fee is due along with a signed contract via our Honeybook invoicing system.

Are we allowed bring in our own alcohol for our event?
Yes, you are! All alcohol must be surrendered to and served by a licensed and insured bartender. We have a few local suppliers (craft breweries and liquor stores) that we would love to recommend you to!
Where do our guests park?
We have a half-acre, gated grass lot on the southwest corner of the building. We have also been given use after 5pm of the Joe Tedder building next door. We highly recommend hiring a valet company, all of this parking is free to the public.
