Things to do in Lakeland

You’ve got everything planned out for your big day, and it’s time for your guests to start rolling into town to celebrate! So we’ve come up with a list of our favorite things to do in Lakeland for your out of town guests to enjoy while visiting our city!

The Joinery

Head to The Joinery for some food from one of their incredible vendors! The Joinery is a food hall right in the heart of downtown Lakeland, on Lake Mirror. They have everything from pizza, poké bowls, ramen, bbq, ice cream, a flower shop, and so much more! Not to mention the most delicious craft beers and cocktails on the block. Walk through Hollis Gardens

After enjoying a meal at The Joinery, take a stroll around Lake Mirror to the beautiful Hollis Garden!

Enjoy a day at Bonnet Springs Park!

Bonnet Springs Park is the newest attraction in Lakeland covering 168 acres and filled with activities for everyone! Enjoy a nature walk on their boardwalk trail, check out the botanical gardens, stop by one of the dining spots for a bite to eat, hang out at the rooftop bar and enjoy a cocktail, or head to the Children’s Museum or one of the many playgrounds if you have little ones. Rec Room

Have a night out at Lakeland’s adult arcade, Rec Room! Enjoy some drinks while playing video and arcade games, what could be better?? You can even just sit at the bar and watch football. Check out their Instagram for more info.

You can’t miss an opportunity to try out Lakeland’s hottest bakery, Born & Bread! They are famous for a reason, trust us. They have the best of the best baked goods and you’ll likely see a line wrapped around the building because of it! It’s the perfect Saturday morning breakfast stop.
